Summary

Amends the:

Sex Discrimination Act 1984
to: provide new protections against discrimination on the basis of a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity and intersex status; provide protection against discrimination for same-sex de facto couples; and make consequential amendments; and
Migration Act 1958
to make a consequential amendment.
